Every customer has full access to manage their products via the Maxer Host client area at https://my.maxer.com. It's very easy to cancel by logging into the client area and following the instructions below.

Domain Names

A cancellation request can be made via your client area:

  1. Login to the client area at https://my.maxer.com/login
  2. Go to the 'Domains' page
  3. Find the domain name in the list
  4. Click on the 'Auto Renew' slider

It will ask you to confirm if you wish to turn the auto-renewal off. Once the auto-renewal is disabled, the domain name will be left to expire and any upcoming renewal invoices for that domain name will be cancelled. You can check your upcoming invoices on the Billing -> My Invoices page of your client area.

Please note that you may still receive renewal reminders, even if the auto-renewal is disabled and the domain should be let to expire. These notifications are obligatory and cannot be turned off. No worries, you will not receive any further invoice as long as the auto-renewal is disabled and/or you don't renew the domain manually.

Hosting Services and SSL Certificates

A cancellation request can be made via your client area:

  1. Login to the client area at https://my.maxer.com/login
  2. Go to the 'Services' page
  3. Find the service in the list
  4. Click on 'Manage' next to the service you want to cancel
  5. In the left sidebar under 'Actions', click the 'Request Cancellation' button
  6. The cancelation form will open. It gives you an opportunity to provide any feedback on our service, positive or negative, so please be as detailed as you like.
  7. Under 'Cancellation Type' you can choose whether to cancel the hosting package with immediate effect or at the end of your current billing period.
  8. Click on the 'Request Cancellation' button to submit your cancellation.

After you submit the cancellation, you will receive a confirmation email, of which you can also find a copy in our client area under My Account -> Email History.

Please note: We cannot accept cancellation requests by telephone or email. All cancellation requests must be submitted in this way. If you have any problems following the steps above, please let us know and we will try to assist you or make the instructions clearer.

If you have forgotten your client area password, you can request a password reset at https://my.maxer.com/password/reset or contact our support team via email or support ticket to request a password reset.

Lastly, if you've setup a PayPal subscription for this domain or service, please don't forget to cancel it via the PayPal website. More information on PayPal subscriptions can be found here: PayPal Subscription - Important Information
